Attempt #2 at playing The Sims 2...
So, I sort of ruined Orwell City in SimCity. I'd spent abotu 9 game hours working on it (there's a handy in game counter) and then decided to make it a literal tourist trap. My ministry of tourism can close the borders at any time, trapping tourists in the city.

However, despite my best efforts, no tourists have come to see my city. My citizens just go to the tourist attractions and are now all very happy. This is completely unacceptable. They're supposed to be indifferent (or even miserable) in Orwell City!

I suppose I could just demolish that entire section of town (it's self contained), but I don't know... maybe I will. Maybe I'll just start a new game and build Pala.

Anyway, while I was waiting for my indecision on how to proceed in SimCity Societies, I decided to break out my copy of The Sims 2 again. Now, I decided I wanted a few expansion, so I got them. But I definitely and surely did not in any way use BitTorrent to acquire these expansions. Definitely not. No way, no BitTorrent for me.

Anyway, I now have a version of The Sims 2 with Nightlife, Pets and Open for Business. I created a family (Lyon) and plopped them down in Pleasantville. (Which, I believe, is where the first Sims took place.) I created the Lyon Family. Frank Lyon and his lesbian sister Melissa. Their dog Happy (a beagle) and their cat Moo. (An Egyptian Mau. The first time I heard of the breed, I actually said, "An Egyptian Moo? what the hell? Did they crossbreed it with a cow?") Anyone who knows my preferences in dogs will not be surprised by the Beagle.

Anyway, I put them in a tiny house (which I desperately need to expand, the cat's litter box is actually outside on the balcony because I can't fit it anywhere else.) I prefer to build my own houses normally, but wanted to jump right in. So I took a small house, figuring I was probably going to rebuild the entire thing anyway.

It's going well, but my one Sim's fun meter is 1t 0. She wont' do anything. I try t let her watch TV and she won't. She just yells at the dog. So, I sent her on a date with a neighbor. As I saved it last night, she was walking out of the house. We'll see how that goes after work for me tonight. I figure that should be fun for her.

I don't know wht I didn't like about this last time, but I'm really enjoying it this time.

Yay! I can't afford to get new expansion packs at the store, so I should definitely...uh...NOT download them from a torrent, either. Yeah, definitely not...

Do you think NOT downloading it form utorrent would work?

Well, uTorrent is just the program. I'd rather not use Azureus.

I don't know why, but I read that like like 4 times and just kept laughing.

And "like" = "line" the first time.

"Hey, let's watch TV!"
*walks over to dog* "BAD DOG! BAD BAD DOG!"
"Umm... okay..."

That is sort of funny, actually.
